Youth Bible Study Topics

The problems of youth  are well identified. Yet the general tendency is to neglect the main needs of youth. But there are no lasting solutions to youth problems until you put God into the picture. For, it is when you find God, you will be truly successful, prosperous, healthy and wealthy. You will of course be a happy person useful to your community?

What are Your Needs?

You need to grow to maturity. You would need three principal things:

Good Counsel:

You need someone to talk to about your goals, hopes, and problems. You would require a good counselor.
He or she would help you shape out your values and goals.

Right companions:

As you grow, you will certainly need a company of good friends. You want to associate with good and avoid bad people.

The Bible says bad companions would ruin your good character.
~ 1 Corinthians 15:33

The Bible teaches that a person who walks with wise men will become wise, but a companion of fools is doomed to be destroyed. ~ Proverbs 13:20

Good friends will protect you from bad influences… You must desire and keep company with only the right kind of people!

Unshakable character.

As you grow to maturity, you need a sense of identity. You need to show the world who you are. This you do by your every action. That is why the Bible says:

“Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.” Proverbs 20:11

Therefore, to avoid youth problems you need to form your own identity. Set yourself apart and make yourself unique. Develop a personality, reputation and character that distinguish you from all others.

You have your parents, counselor, church pastor and teachers to help meet your needs and guide you against youth problems. Life is full of danger. They are to protect you from harmful relationship.

However, you must find out the truth by yourself. Search the Scriptures by yourself and apply its truth to your situation.

That is why the Bible is there. As you study it, light will shine on your ways. It is your perfect guide in life. Finally, your future is partly what you think about now. It is made up of your youthful actions and choices. And of course what you talk often about will certainly influence your future.
