Tact in the Bible
Here are passages in the Bible that point to tact formula:
1. In Joshua 1:8, God gave Joshua tact formula for success. It is made up of three steps. The first letter is T. It stands for Thought and meditation or the use of your mind. The second letter is A for action, what you need to do to achieve the success that you desire. Then the last letter T is for Talk – your declarations or how you use your tongue.
2. You are told in Deuteronomy 6:6-9 that God wants his commandments to be upon your heart. He wants you to talk often about them. You are to tie them as symbols on your hands (work, acts, and activities) and bind them on your forehead (mind, thought).
3. “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve.” ~ Jeremiah 17:10.
To bring about any change in your life or situation, you will have to start with your heart or mind. You will need to use your body and tongue in such a way as to bring about your desire.
